Written by C/ Natalie Zarth (11/2/21) On the 30th October drill team members headed out to their first drill meet of the year. While there cadets who are part of the JV team had to do the 30 count drill sequence and be inspected, Color guard members also competed in AFMAN and TC. Both groups had the opportunity to participate in the IDR every thirty minutes. For the IDR, cadets were able to show off their stationary drill ability and the top three winners of each round were able to compete against all the IDR winners of the day to determine the top 10 in a large round between all the winners. West Orange ended up taking 4 first place trophies home for JV 30 count drill sequence, JV 30 count inspection, JV commander, and for color guard on AFMAN.
